The Great Doodle Silent Auction Gala is on Saturday October 26, 2024 at the Mahone Bay Centre (Ralph Hennigar Room). We expect the action to pick up about 4 pm, and winning bids will be announced at 9 pm.
We have asked dozens of artists, performers, famous people and personalities to “doodle” on a 5x7 card, which we have framed. The doodles will be displayed all afternoon and evening (until 9 pm) at the Mahone Bay Centre. Place your (silent) bids on the form for the doodle that you wish to take home: and keep watching the bidding to stay on top! We have many celebrity doodles. Just a few:

More than a week has past and Mahone Bay is still buzzing with excitement over the music performance by Natalie McMaster, Donnell Leahy and the Leahy Family. They more than thrilled the audience at the Community Harmony Concert, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 6. The Three Churches Foundation is most grateful to Team United East and Alec Cloke for organizing and managing the concert, and for the exceptionally generous donation of the proceeds (and more!) to the Foundation to continue our efforts to preserve and maintain Edgewater Street's iconic streetscape, in beautiful Mahone Bay. Thank you, Team United East!
At the concert, Alec announced that another concert will be held in the late fall of 2024, featuring Madison Violet. Watch for news on Team United East Facebook, The Three Churches Foundation Facebook, and on this website. We were honoured to host the Lord Byng Chamber Choir (an ensemble within the Fine Arts Academy program at Lord Byng Secondary School, Vancouver) to a concert at St. James on April 27, 2024.
They have performed in festivals and venues including in France and Belgium, Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal, Seattle Heritage Festival, Whistler Con Brio Festival and Sun Peaks Festival. And now in Mahone Bay! The Three Churches Foundation Board and members on April 23, 2024 outside of Trinity United Church. The Foundation contributed to the improvement of the church roofing.
